Description: Up for your consideration is this exquisite European antique Victorian figural centerpiece featuring a woman and child. The child is holding a rose and the woman who is wearing a Roman style garment is holding up a polished alabaster bowl. Could not find any maker's marks on this piece. I do believe that it was either made in Italy or France. There are no chips or breaks in this piece. Perfect to hold fruits or if you wish to use it in a grand bathroom, it could hold soaps. The possibilities are endless. The metal is either a brass or spelter, I cannot tell and I have not polished it. It is in "found" condition. The new owner can decide to polish it or keep its patina. This piece stands almost 17.5" tall. The top of the bowl is 9" across. The base is 9" across from leg to leg. Nice heavy piece and definitely a statement piece. It would make a beautiful addition to any home decor collection.
