Description: Antique Tunbridge Ware Got to Bed / Match Box Holder / Striker Victorian c.1890 Circa 1890 A late 19th century Tunbridge ware go to bed box. Of cylinder form with removable lid. Match sticker to the base. Designed to hold a small candle in the middle with a space to hold the lit match too. Inside would have been used to store the spare matches and candles. Could easily be used as a string holder too. Height 7.5cm Diamater 5cm Condition - Good. There would originally have been a small bone candle holder too which is missing.
