Description: Selling vintage telescope tripod as shown in photos Good clean condition and functions; swivels freely and smoothly. Made of wood (legs) and metal parts (swivel head). With legs extended 2/3rd, the tripod stands at 4 ft tall. When folded to it's smallest (shippable) size, it is approx 9" x 9" by 36" and weighs approx 8 lbs. I believe it is missing a handle or knob on one of the adjustment swivels I do not see a brand or label on it. I am guessing it is from the 1950's or 1960's. Comes w/ upper equatorial mount, counter-weight and clamp for telescope (up to 5 1/2 inch in diameter). The tripod height is adjustable and can be set with wing nuts. The legs are removable as well.
