Description: This antique needle case is made by stacking a series of six sided rings to form the case. It is made of a bone-like material and has a carved flower finial on each end. The case is threaded and the lid of the case has two small old hairline vertical cracks that run up from rim of the lid. These do not effect the way the lid screws onto the lower case but you need to be aware of this issue. It is an beautifully made case probably from China or India Circa 1850.
