Description: For your consideration is this handsome looking vase, made by Roseville Pottery, in 1923. It is part of the Corinthian line. It's an 8.25"vase. The vertical green is nicely offset by the beige ribs. Around the top rim you will see scalloped relief in green, and then below that is a grapevine surrounding the neck, with clusters of grapes on opposite sides. The interior has some dust, but not too bad. The flared base is the starting point for the ribs, and it has a 1/4" flat surrounding the edge. There's about a 2" area on the flat edge, that seems like it was sanded, or just not glazed. The bottom does not have a maker's mark, which was typical of the Corinthian line. There is a sticker attached which is possibly an identification. There is also another spot near the sticker, that is unglazed. There is overall crazing, but no stains. The "sanded" spot on the base rim, may have been done to remove a flake chip. I say that now, because I just noticed a tiny chip on the foot ring. I still think this piece is in great shape, just not as good as I first thought. Look over my photos to verify my condition claims, and ask any questions you may have.
