It is a quality piece of glass and was made by the Richards & Hartley Glass Company, formerly of Pittsburgh & Tarentum, Pennsylvania. It is made in a blue colored glass and the pattern is called “Kitten on a Pillow” or “Cat.” The piece in my photos is the actual item you will receive. This has been part of my personal toothpick holder collection since 2013. Please be sure to read the “Age and Condition” & “Approximate Dimensions” paragraphs below. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item. There is some very minor roughness to a couple places on the feet. Otherwise, there are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines, or repairs to the glass – see my photos. With a loupe, I can see some appropriate evidence of use or wear to the bottoms of the feet. I will also mention some “straw marks” to the base; these are not damage, just minor manufacturing flaws or blemishes and the way it originally came from the factory. Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos, it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
