Description: You are bidding on a Rare Antique Tube Pan from Germany Circa 1920's. The pan is a circular, aluminum baking dish. The center of the pan is molded to form a tube, to create a ring cake. The tube is open at its peak. The pan has two black handles on opposite sides of the dish. There are eight rectangular apertures along the upper rim for ventilation when steaming or cooking; the lid has the same pattern so that, when attached, the holes can be sealed or aligned, to allow steam to escape. The lid is also aluminum. The center of lid is raised, and has a circular aperture for inserting a glass window. The lid has two black handles on opposite sides. There are eight rectangular apertures along the lower rim, for ventilation when steaming or cooking. The glass window in the lid has the etching "Jenaer Glas Kuchenwunder D.R.P." The D.R.P. means "Deutsches Reichs Patent", stating that this design or part of it was patented sometime between 1890 and 1945.
