Description: On offer, we have a map of most of Ventura County, California with routes to Santa Barbara and San Diego. The printing is bold and clear on a very delicate paper that measures 22" X 35 1/2". The light manila paper is similar to what an architect might use. My expert dates this to circa 1900, but admits he might be off a few years. His guess is based on the fact that the Ventura County Fairgrounds, started in 1900, is not shown. If you know the area you can best guess the age. Sadly, it is not signed. I am not an expert on maps, but believe this is in very good condition. There are a few age spots on the paper. This has been folded and has a center tear of about 3" on the fold line. Please view my photographs for more description. My friend who collects everything is parting with some of his treasures. I will be happy to answer any questions, send more photos and, of course, combine your shipping.
