Description: This listing is for antique brass and possibly bronze (or some heavy stone) sculptural base. Its body is brass. However, I am unsure about the base, which might have been crafted from bronze or another type of heavy metal, like iron— perhaps even stone. When I found it, it was listed as a candleholder and can be used for such. Nonetheless, after doing a bit of searching, I found that this figure might have been the base of an old oil lamp. There is a great deal of wear and damage and some adhesive or gum-like substance in the "holder." The figure is of a boy and his dog. It measures approximately 6 2/3" tall and 4.5" wide.
