Featuring a full figure image of Napoleon Bonaparte wearing military regalia, bicorn hat and sporting an iconic pose, steel blade is scimitar shapes with a curved blade - brass tip is fitted onto the blade with a lacy, decorative frame accented with an Imperial Eagle - there is a Stanhope viewer tube on back, but the glass ends and image are missing. Condition is very nice with no damage other than a bit of irregularity to the blade from age and use. A wonderful, early piece - acquired recently from the estate of an avid Napoleon collector who purchased it in France. Lovely addition to any collection or display!
