SHAW, PHILADELPHIA, PRESUMABLY FROM c.1820"approximately 17 inches by 20 inches in size when unfolded. The map printed on thin paper.Pasted to a thin cardboard only from its upper corners, few stains at the upper edge (could be the drops from the glue used for pasting the map,) issued folded, minor blemishes at the edges, right flank is present only at the upper half of the map (this shows that the map is removed from an atlas or from an antique book.) otherwise A clean item from c. 1820. Amazing territories such as Arkansas Territory, Missouri Territory, Michigan Territory, North Territory, ........ We did some research of the names of the engraver and publisher on internet and found their names at some other works done around c.1820. Also another point that justifies our guess about the age of the map is: Arkansas Territory was a Territory of United States from 1819 to 1836. Please do see the sample pics. ebay collects Sales Tax.
