Description: Map of Leiden originally published by Braun and Hogenberg in 1575 This map has been taken very carefully from a book of maps (Braun and Hogenberg's City Maps of Europe) which was published in 1991. It is in EXCELLENT condition has been printed on good quality paper. As it is from a book it is on 2 SEPARATE PIECES OF PAPER so the join in the middle is good but not perfect - please see the photos for more detailed information. The listing includes comprehensive information about the map and the town as it was in the 1500's. The map measures approximately 17.25" x 12.5" (44cm x 32cm) and would look great framed! It has been kept in a plastic bag and will be sent to you in cardboard backed envelope. I have other similar items for sale and will combine postage charges if you buy other items.
