Description: My collection of old cast iron is being listed currently. This is for an antique Cast iron fish or pancake griddle for gas or grill. It is 22" long with the two handles, 9 1/2" wide with the rim and weighs approx just under 7 pounds unpacked . Depth of cooking area is approx. 1" and 18" long and 7 1/4" wide at the longest and widest part of the cooking surface. The rim is approx 1" around the entire griddle. There is a mark at the bottom, but I can't make out exactly what it is. Looks like letter S or number 8 and Letter N or Y or K. The bottom has some cooked on food or it is rough casting that a simple washing and soaking can't remove, so I have tried to clean it, as best I could without access to lye, and I put vegetable oil on it to keep it from rusting waiting for it to sell. It probably can be washed again and if you have access to lye can remove any baked on food that may be on it and then re oiled and baked to season it better than I tried to do. It is cast iron and a magnet sticks to it. Please see photos for actual item and condition. I will combine shipping when you purchase multiple items at the same time.
