Description: Antique Limoges Oscar Gutherz Birds Flowers Hand Colored Mustard/Condiment Pot. Adorable Limoges Oscar Gutherz mustard/ condiment pot. On a white ground featuring two sweet birds and Thistle stems. These decorations are transfer with hand coloring on top. The birds are colored in blue, brown, yellow , purple and red. The thistle is colored in shades of magenta, pink, blue, yellow and green. The pot is attached to the underplate. Bright gold gilt trims the lid, handles, finial, pot, and underplate. There is no spoon. Marked on the reverse in a red triangle Limoges Oscar Gutherz. This mark was used from 1898-1918. A nice addition to you dinner table. To use or will display beautifully. All measurements are approximate: Pot measures 4 1/2' x 2 1/8"Lid measures 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"Underplate measures 5" x 3" Very good antique condition to commensurate with age and use.
