Description: ANTIQUE ITALIAN LEATHER JEWELRY BOX FROM THE 1920'S. This hinged dome top box is clad in brown leather with gold stenciling on top and sides. Bottom is covered with a printed paper. Inside lined with a blue silk. The brass hinges and closing hasp are in working order and the blue silk lining has no tears or stains. It measures 4" long x 2" wide x 1 1/2" tall. The leather surface and edges show age related wear. Given its diminuative size it was most likely used for gift presentation and/or travel. Please look carefully at the photos.
