Description: Antique J&G Meakin Blue & White Porcelain Candle Holder ? w/ Girl Tintype Photo The pottery, attributed to J&G Meakin, appears to be unsigned and measures about 4" diameter. Shows some signs of age and wear along with a few small nicks or chips and kiln firing cracks in the glaze. Glob of old glue and tintype emulsion remnants to verso. Very good to near excellent condition overall as noted. The tintype measures about 1 3/4" x 2 1/16". The tintype shows signs of age and wear along with smudges, scratches, nicks, spots, rust, blistering, and emulsion flaking with bare areas. The two married pieces forming a framed tintype of a young teenage girl were sourced together and as such are being offered for sale together.
