Description: Vintage Ideal #6 Loading Tool for .50-70 Government. Overall good condition. I've used this tool for loading cartridges for my 1869 .50-70 rifle. Mold is a bit tired however it still makes a useable 450 grain bullet of the correct type for the Springfield rifle. The primer seating plunger is for the cupped type primers and will seat flat type without damaging them. If you own one of these neat rifles and want to shoot Blackpowder loads this tool will help you out. The seating die(114) is adjustable for loading other bullet types like lead balls, etc. Die 114 is correct number for this cartridge.
