Description: Antique Henry Alcock & Co. Transferware Cake Plate Pedestal - Flora Pattern9" across top x 4-3/4" tall Overall condition is very good for it's age. I'm giving a guess that it dates back somewhere in the late 1800's. The piece does have discoloration due to age and the glaze has crazing. there is a small divot in the back under the plate (see picture). It looks to have happened during the production process as it has glaze over it. The transfer pattern is easy to see. The edge is trimmed in gold.
