Description: This listing is for one antique book titled - Sam Jones' Own Book A Series of Sermons. Collected and Edited Under the Author's own Supervision. With An Autobiographical Sketch. Cranston & Stowe. Copyright, Cranston & Stowe 1886. Considering the age of this book, it appears to be in overall good condition. There is the usual wear to the corners, edges, and spine ends. Some shelf scuffing to the covers. When opening the front and back cover, is starting to split down the hinge so could use some tape if choose to do so. This has been stored in attic, so has a slight musty smell, nothing overpowering. The previous owner's name is written inside. There is some dark spotting on the tissue page, illustration of Sam Jones, and title page (see photos). Some of the pages have paragraphs boxed off by pencil (see photo). There might be a few pages with minimal tears in the margins, or some light spotting. The binding is good and all 539 pages intact. If you can get past the few flaws, it is a nice antique readable book. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me and I will do my best to answer them. I do wrap with bubble wrap and pack with peanuts but can't be responsible on the handling once it is left at the Post Office. I do charge $1.00 shipping/handling fee to help with the cost of shipping supplies (bubble wrap, packing peanuts, padded mailers, boxes etc.). I only mail within the United States.
