Description: For your consideration this antique Wooden Chipboard Shaker Oval box with German Putz wooden houses on top, with trees, dog, mushrooms and other elements. The wooden chipboard box was decorated with antique German Dresden foil trim, and topped with the Christmas village as shown. Great patina, shows wear, tips of trees are damaged from age and storage. About 5" long, 3.5" wide and stands 4.5" tall. White faux snow was randomly applied. It is not signed or marked, but the village putz houses are German in origin, I have never seen one like this. It is estimated to be 1920s or earlier in age. All sales are final, so please ask any questions you have. Thank you.
