Description: Rare Antique Georgian 1784 Silver Gilt Mounted Enamelled Coventry Halfpenny Condor Token. Condor tokens were regionally issues to provide low value coinage which was in short supply. The 1794 coin has been beautifully enamelled in colour showing the famous Lady Godiva on one side. The coin is mounted in sterling silver gilt coin mount so it can be worn as a pendant. In good condition with just some age related wear to one edge (see pictures). Measures 3.6cm in diameter and it weighs 16.8 grams.
