Description: Set of 12 Fruit themed knife rest. Barbotine most likely from the Rivera area. Vallauris. France from 1900 decade possible. I don't think the set has ever been used. It has been in my grandmother's and then my mother's dining room drawers. In my life we had many elegant dinners with all the utensils, plates, chargers. Water and wine glasses with knife rest out but never these. Mostly silver was used. My parents were collectors and had extremely expensive art and collections in their homes. There was a business card in the box from an antique dealer stating what they were.
