Description: Antique French Empire Ormolu Flower Beaded Basket Chandelier. Circa 1920s. A superb elegant antique French Empire weaved basket of frosted glass flower beads with ormolu mounts and ceiling rose. The chandelier is in very good working condition, rewired and earthed.Takes a one large bayonet bulb.It has a good age of over 100 years old.Some strings of glass beads are slightly bent with a few beads missing at the bottom as shown...Nothing major but noted. Has a great aged patina with wear/rubbing to the gilt finish which gives it a nice warm antique tone. Has minor wear and tear commensurate with age and use. Measures an overall drop of around 19"/ 49cms with a diameter of 15.25" / 39cms across.The ceiling rose measures 6.5" / 16.5cms across.
