Description: 1836 Original Pair of Antique Botanical prints in gold wood frames with glass Fresh from an estate sale these are over 150 years old and original. Just under 14 inches and 11 1/2 inches wide. This listing is for both frames with glass original frame, beautiful pictures. One frame does have a little damage as seen in my photos. It is on the top left-hand corner. You could actually color this in with some gold paint. Few of the other corners have a little chipping which is not too bad considering how old they are. Holden Del Smith is the artist and are hand colored. There is no dot matrix as in a print. They are hand colored pictures original. Also signed in each corner and in the middle is seen in my photos. The colors together are beautiful different shades of pink’s and greens and then blues and greens. One of the floral designs is called DICHORIZANDRA. THRYSIFLORA The other one is SARRACENRU FURNPUREA? They have never been taken out of the frame as you can see in the back, it is still intact although edges are torn some. These came from an estate in the gold country in northern California. They are very well done and highlight these beautiful flowers even though I cannot read the names very well. Please see photos for the names yourself. They are sold as a pair since that was how they came. They are both dated on the back as seen in my photos and on the front.
