Description: Magnificent Imari Kings Pattern Teacup made by Derby and decorated with rich Mazarin blue, terracotta and gold flowers and leaves on multicoloured ground. Beautifully gilt highlights and bands throughout, including on beautifully styled London form handle. The dimensions are approximately 3 7/8 inches in diameter and 2.25 inches tall. Marked with early Derby baton mark on reverse, and including painters mark and pattern number. Because baton mark is in red, we know the cup was made after 1805 and before 1825. The item(s) are antique and sold as is. They may show wear, fading, scratches, original imperfections and/or damage from normal use. I note wear to gilt rim and prior restoration to handle as shown in photos. Examine photos carefully as they are part of the description. Imperfections were factored into pricing. No returns or refunds.
