Description: Antique Creamy White Haynes Ware Pansy No 437 10” Vase Antique, Used A beautiful and colorful art nouveau design of pansies decorate this gorgeous Haynes Ware porcelain/ceramic high glaze antique pitcher which might be considered “farmhouse table worthy.” This antique pitcher is part of the Haynes Ware collection in their Pansy Pattern No. 437 created by D.F. Haynes and Son Pottery Co. This item was produced sometime between 1877 when the company became D.F. Haynes & Co. and 1914 when the company was purchased and production was discontinued. We have been unable to determine definitively when this pattern was created and issued. The pitcher stands 10" High and 8½" across from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle. The base measures nearly 6½" in Diameter. This piece displays clear markings on the bottom as "Haynes Ware Patsy Decoration No. 437" as shown in the photos. The piece shows a bit of wear in the form of "crazing" as would be expected for its age (over 120 years old). The gold trim remains almost completely intact, which should be considered amazing due to its age but the gold trim on the handle, base and lip of the pitcher does show some wear. NOTE: The "crazing" as shown in the photos has been intentionally amplified many times over using increased lighting conditions and magnification for the purpose of your review. The "crazing" does not appear as detailed when viewing the piece in normal lighting. Please check the photos in order to make your own determination. If you are a collector of antique Haynes Ware pieces, this piece will make a fine addition to your collection. This stunning piece would also be a great decorative addition to any room within the home or office, or possibly even a wonderful and unique wedding gift.
