Description: We offer our rare find - an antique copper skimmer with a long handle. The skimmer was forged by a village coppersmith from a thick copper sheet and consists of two parts - a round bowl and a handle, which are forge-welded together. All parts of the skimmer are decorated with primitive patterns applied using a coppersmith's chasing tool. The skimmer was found in France. This skimmer has no identifying marks, but it can be identified as a rare antique piece of 19th-century kitchenware. This makes it a desirable item for a collector of antique copper pieces. The skimmer is in excellent condition and can be used in a rustic kitchen interior or for its utilitarian purpose. Dimensions and Details: Origin: France, 19th century (presumably). Dimensions: Length: 54 cm / 21 in. Width: 14 cm / 5.5 in. Weight: 0.390 kg / 0.860 lb.
