Description: This antique powder flask is of unknown originand age. It belonged to my great-grandfather but I do not know when he acquired it. Length is 8 inches, the metal may be copper but I cannot be positive. It has a rawhide cord. There are raised designs on each side, which appear to be birds and flowers. There is no plug in the opening at the top, and there is a split along the seam at the bottom (see final two photos). Photos #2,6,9,and 10 have been ligtened to assist with showing the detail.....the color is more accurate in the darker photos.
