Description: ANTIQUE LACE TABLECLOTH 1920's LINEN CENTERPIECE TABLECLOTH 50" ROUND CLUNY LACEThis beautiful hand done French 50"round Cluny Lace linen tablecloth's designs are geometric and combined with braided bars with little petal-shaped wheatears devices. A form of tatting, cluny tatting.CONDITION: In very good condition with no stains, repairs or holes. I have recently laundered, lightly starched and pressed this cloth.APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: 50" round.I believe this piece dates from the 1920's. It is reminiscent of a very grand and regal period in linens. This tablecloth is skillfully hand done, and will enhance any table setting. This one is well preserved and worthy of collecting. Our antique textiles are collectible and are not new and not reproductions, and have lived a long and eventful life and sometimes developing flaws. Therefore, use and wear should be expected with these items, unless stated in description. We do not launder or dry clean unless stated in listing, and most times have been in storage for many decades picking up old age storage oxidation spots.
