Description: Antique Chinese wucai twin handle vase with hand painted decoration with two figural and landscape panels and phoenix decoration on the sides with dragon handles that have been seperately applied to the sides and not moulded as part of the vase. There is a hand painted wanli ming mark to base, but probably later, and in my opinion, this piece probably dates to the late 19th to early 20th century 1900-1940 Qing / Republic period. But it could also be a lot older. VERY RARE PIECE. Please study pictures and decide for yourselves as my description is my opinion. Please refer to pictures. NOTE: I have cleaned the base foot rim with some warm soapy water, and you can compare pictures 18 and 19 for before and after as it was only dirt. Size: height including the lid is just over 11.25 Inches or 29.3 cms, . . . . And the width of the body is 4' inches or 10 cms. . . Foot rim is just over 3' Inches squared or 7.6 cms, not including the overhang . . . Condition: Some glaze crazing with age minor knock marks to pertruding corners on base and some kiln burn to the sharp corners of the body where the glaze is thinner but overall very good with no structural damage such as hairlines, cracks or repairs or restoration, etc. Please refer to the pictures provided as this is part of the description.
