Description: Antique Chinese Enamel Heavy Silver Cuff Bangle Bracelet Lovely! Bracelet overall is in very good condition. I found a few places where some enamel has worn when looked at up close, but I don't believe it detracts at all. I tried to pick this up in my pictures. Measures 7/16" wide. Measurement is approx. 7-1/2" around inside, from end to end. Gap is 1/4". The enamel is 2 shades of blue and a couple tads of pink.. As to the enamel work, I see maybe a bird, some pansies, leaves, when looked at up close. It has tiny "stippling" background to the raised enamel work. Each edge has a small triangle pattern going around. The bracelet is silver metal and it is not marked. I have not tested it, but I believe it is all silver. Weighs 37.3 grams - not lightweight. I would have to guess as to age, but I would say late 1800's or so before they had to mark origin and metal content. Chinese export perhaps. This style is the open cuff/bangle. I was able to barely slide it on over my hand but then it is very loose on my wrist area. It does not bend (open further), however, it may be possible for a jeweler/silversmith to open it a bit.
