Title is gold gilded and embossed to the spine face. Book begins at page 5 of the introduction, apparently missing pages 1 through 4. At the lower inside margins of pages 191 to 198 is some minor tatter, a few of these pages also show some minor tatter at their upper margins. Book is overall internally clean with some minor foxing here and there throughout and with marbled paper endpapers and Naples Italy bookbinder's label at the back endpapers. Book's binding is tight and well intact, the book retains its structural integrity and book is complete besides the aforementioned missing first pages of the introduction. Book totals 259 pages, measures approximately 5 1/8 x 4 2/3 x 1 inches and weighs about 1/2 of a pound.
