Description: Description This wonderful fireplace was salvaged from a Harlem NY brownstone.It is made of sycamore and is painted. The top has an ornate frame with carved brackets and panels but the mirror was broken and not saved. The shelf is supported by 2 ornate corbels with turned and fluted columns below.The breast has applied carvings and a large spoon carved sunburst in the middle. Measurements are 90.5 inches wide including the return moldings the wrap around the chimney breast, 51.25 tall to the shelf, 96.5 overall height and 13.75 deep. The firebox opening is 42.5 inches wide by 35.75 tall.Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship.
