Description: Selling from my personal collection. I've had this for about 6 years. Good Condition Brunswick Panatrope Phonograph. This portable model is from the 1920s. It is crank operated. A full crank plays about 2 sides of a 78. This will only play 78s or similar shellac records. This will not play modern vinyl. This unit still works well. The reproducer is still strong and it puts out a very respectable volume for its size. The brake still works. The tuning is no longer precise so some records will run faster or slower. There is a little adjustability but not much. I will include one 78 rpm record. More are easily found at flea markets and old book stores. It's important to change the needle every few plays (ideally every play) to preserve the records. These can be bought for about 5 cents each in bulk. Please don't use the same needle over and over! The case shows wear on the material from moving and storage (and almost 100 years). The box is still sturdy and the latch works fine. Leather strap is still functional but I would not carry it by the handle for long. If there's a specific picture you'd like me to take, let me know. I can only take limited pictures and can't possibly take every conceivable angle.
