Description: Boote's Octagon Shape Ironstone Lid I am pretty sure this old ironstone lid is in the Boote's Octagon shape, registered in 1851, and is for a sugar bowl. It is in excellent condition with no chips or any damage and is very clean. There is no vent hole. It measures 3" across the bottom that sits on the rim of the sugar. The lip part that fits inside is 2 3/4" across. I have other ironstone lids and a mulberry flow lid on other listings. __________________________________________________ Always check the other shipping options available in the Shipping Details tab to find the best one for you!
