Lea; J. Richardson; and J. Johnson and Co. in 1810. Translated edition from the French. With maps including Orbis Romani pars Occidentalis; Galla Antiqua; Britannia Antiqua; Italia Antiqua (small tear to bottom); Orbis Romani pars Orientalis; Asia Minor & Syria; Grecia Antiqua; Aegypta Antiqua; Palestina and Orbis Veteribus Notus. Bound with leather book spines and marbled boards. Hardbacks, 446 & 439 pages, 14 cm by 21.5 cm. Acceptable condition. There is wear to the covers including splits to the leather along the edges of the book spines as shown in the photographs. The boards remain attached by the binding threads. There are marks to the end papers which are also split in the hinge region. There is a book plate attached to the inside of the two front covers. Binding remains intact. Occasional marks. Ten maps are present (all in volume one). two have small tears but most are in good condition.
