Description: This stunning antique, authentic Mary Gregory clear art glass vase is a must-have for any collector of unique and beautiful pieces. Hand painted with intricate attention to detail, this vase is a true work of art. The main figure is an adorable boy pointing at a bird or butterfly. This rare piece has a lovely shaped vase with a rimmed underplate that has ornate flowers painted on it. There is a number "2" etched on the bottom. This beautiful piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear...this is amazing since it is very old (it was in my mother's antique collection, & I am in my 60's; Mary Gregory loved 1856 - 1908!)! The glass was hand blown so it has some bubbles & natural imperfections. Measures approximately 10" high and 6.5" across at the underplate.
