Description: For sale is a really nice Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period plate made by KPM in the early 20th century . The plate is hand painted with a bird scene including a male and a female Golden pheasant in a nice landscape surrounding. The male is a really beautiful bird! The rim is decorated in the Jugendstil style with raised gold scrolls as well as some leaves and flowers and a slightly greenish ground color between the scrolls which is hard to see in the pictures. A truly superb plate and it is in superb condition with very minimal use marks. The piece is just over 1 inch tall and 9.75 inches in diameter.
