Description: This ANSONIA Royal Bonn Victorian Porcelain Mantel Clock is a rare and beautiful antique piece from the 1800’s. It has a multicolor design with a gorgeous green and gold trim and a beautiful flower theme. The clock works and will chime, but it stops after some time. The pendulum needs to be set to keep its balance and continue movement, which is an easy adjustment on the pendulum screw. It is a necessary step at times when relocating the clock to maintain balance and movement. She would benefit from a cleaning of her mechanisms , which is the standard care and maintenance of these clocks. It is an 8-day mechanical wind-up movement. I will include a key for winding her. The clock is 10 inches tall, 8-1/2 inches long and 5 inches wide, and weighs 6 lbs 14 oz. The clock also has a chime sequence of hourly and half-hour strike, and is a perfect addition to any room. It was manufactured between 1880 and 1900, and is an original piece from the Victorian era. The clock movement is an Ansonia Brass Mechanical Time & Strike 8 Day, and the frame is made of porcelain ceramic. There is scotch tape on the sides and top of the clock from storage, which can be cleaned and removed. Please see photos tape residue squares. Measurements: 10” Tall. 8-1/2” Long. 5” Wide.
