Description: Calling all McKenzie's...Antique Ames Edwards Victorian Pewter Gill measuring tankard, engraved McKenzie. This piece has the Victorian mark, made in Perth City, dates to late 1800's. It is WELL USED!! Dented, bent and marked up on all sides. But it holds an array of antique markings. A Gill is a 1/4 pint and measuring jugs/tankards such as this would of been used in bars and taverns to measure out drinks. This one has certainly looks as if it has seen more than a lifetime of use in a tavern! A great bar gift! Stands 3 inches high, just over two inches wide at the top, 3 1/2 inches outer edge to outside of handle. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
