Description: Antique African American 9” Bisque Doll Original Clothes&Braids/Ribbons This little girl is in very good condition for her 100 yrs. She is not labeled which makes me think she was caught in the 1921 custom change. Probably her paper label came off or it was required that only one item in the group was labeled. We think she was produced in Japan. Her original jumper is faded. The stringing is tight. Her paint is good. I pulled her jumper down in back and I could see that her bottom had not been painted.
