Description: Stunning and well-cut, Antique American Brilliant Period Cut Glass ABPCG, oval deep celery tray with high rounded edges. Featuring large geometrical hobstars, fans, diamond-like patterns, lines, and also a sawtooth rim. This is a gorgeous piece, made of beautiful quality heavy crystal, cut with high degree of precision. Made sometime late 19th century. Condition: good overall, no cracks or repairs. All sawtooth are in place except one has loss, and another one also damaged but lesser. Other than that some minor chipping and flea bites on sawteeth and underside. Scratches on the underside related to use. Production related bubbles. Use related marks and scratches. A few small scabs, but nothing that takes away from the look. These flaws are typical and are expected of these types of pieces. ABP cut glass pieces are very reflective and elaborate. It is possible I missed something, but it will not be anything major. This is a very beautiful and eye-catching antique piece that will make a beautiful addition to a collection of ABP glass. It’s a great example of cut glass of the Victorian era. Measures approximately 13”L by 5” wide and 2.5” H at the highest spot.
