With a delightfully sweet face, rosy cheeks, and blue eyes, this darling little girl doll is sure to capture your heart. Measuring almost 5 inches tall and about 2.5 inches in width, she will take up very little space in your collection — a perfect size for playtime or display. Take a careful look at her measurements to make sure she fits your dollhouse or room box, in your doll cabinet… or in the arms of a larger doll. This original, hand-painted doll with a delicate pink tint to her “skin” features a variety of unique details, including wire-strung arms and legs, hand painted ribbed white socks with a blue top band, and two blue bows in her side-parted blonde curly hair. Her dress and pants were recently hand stitched for her of vintage white eyelet, blue sateen ribbon and heirloom silk floral trim. This little doll is a must-have for collectors of little treasures and enthusiasts of childhood play. She is lightly incised on her back with the factory marks: P 15 and Germany; as well as a very light nearly impossible to see clover logo. This doll was most likely produced around the turn of the 19th - 20th century and still absolutely adorable after over 100 years! She is in lovely preowned clean ready to enjoy condition, and is sold as described here through text and photos. Please note her “skin”, especially her legs, appears dirty (it’s not), although this discoloration is typical with these dolls and is most likely from production. You may find her little ribbons may need a stitch or two to keep the satiny surface from slipping out of bows. Your “new to you” doll will be wrapped securely and shipped quickly.
