Description: Vintage 1920 religious book for whom the intended reader is for a minister. The book has 126 pages featuring the orders of worship, communion, baptism, marriage, burial, prayers, amongst others. See photos 10 & 11 for the contents. The book itself is old and has wear. It looks like it was well used, with some words crossed out in pencil, sentences outlined, etc. All done in pencil. Stains on the front cover, pencil writing/marks in the book, wear on the spine (see photos 6, 7, 8), light water stains on the back few pages in the upper corner (see photos 15, 17 for an example). The spine is fragile and is still holding the pages in, although some pages have become loose at the bottom from the spine (see photo 16 for an example). The pages aren’t actively falling out, but care should be used when handling to prevent further damage! Despite the wear, the book is still perfectly readable. The book was found with two little old papers inside with names/words/and a sketch done in pencil. Maybe the original owner’s? Who knows! They’ll be included in the book. See pictures 20/21.
