Description: This is a very early 1913 Harley Twin motor. It was made in 1912, and the cases have the 1912 “rounded off” look. This motor is numbers matching, with both cases and both cylinders having matching numbers. The cylinders are in very nice shape. The bores are standard, with light staining and some very light frosting. I actually ran them on my complete 1913 twin motor while I was working on the cylinders that match my bike. The cases have a small hairline crack above the lettering where a bolt got drug against the cases by the flywheels. It did not gouge the cases very deep, but it did put a short superficial hairline crack. The original owner added an oil sight glass onto the cases. These cases are really clean inside, and could be easily repaired by any number of rebuilders. Most of the small parts are with the motor, the gears followers, rods, and one flywheel are very nice. One flywheel is in need of some love.
