Description: A fantastic vintage day dress from the late 1910s/early 1920s! Day dress that is made to look like two pieces; bodice is of a solid dusty green wool or wool blend with skirt of coordating tiny checked pattern. Chemise style with open fit fro underarm to hem. V neck with small collar and decorative shoulder seams and long attached ties at collar. Decorative buttons at front. Curved seaming at waist. Unlined. Good conditon, remnants of silk inset at neckline, smattering of tiny stains across front of bodice, have not cleaned. Very faint, yellowing and under arms, and some larger lightened spots on plaid that appear to be surface. Former museum inventory, has small hand stitched label inside skirt. 41” long 20” underarm to underarm 14.5” shoulder seam to seam 23” long sleeves
