Description: Antique Pair of August Buermann Spurs, Hand-Forged Western Spurs Beautiful pair of Hand-Forged Western Spurs manufactured by August Buermann of Newark, NJ. These are Buermann Model #1270, The spurs have the traditional Buerman shank with built-in chap guard 1-5/8” 10-point rowel, 1-1/2” drop shank and chasing around the outer heel-band, they also have the original double heel chains. These have been sitting in a collection in Wyoming for the past 60 years. If you’re a collector of Western Spurs these are a must have. Circa, 1880s Markings, Forged, Pat’D Condition, very good with normal discoloration on metal, leather is old and worn. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
