Description: Antique Huge Dovetailed Early 1800’s American Copper Apple Butter Kettle or Cauldron which would hold about 30 Gallons. Diameter across the top is 30” and it’s about 12” deep. Small pin sized holes in bottom. Three separate dovetailed segments and dovetails along the bottom rim. Initials of maker are etched inside. Our last picture shows the stenciled “A M” or “W V”, depending on which way you look. Probably had handles at one time. Please see our pictures. Unusually large. Not super heavy for its size: 17 pounds, 14 ounces. Will ship promptly.
