Description: Antique 16" German Gebruder Heubach Pouty Character Boy Doll Marked & Darling! Head and shoulder are perfect without repair or restoration and have been lit. On the body there is one leg that has lost a bit of sawdust. It is stabilized and does not show on display. A beautiful Pouty German Heubach Character Boy doll dressed like a sailor in his navy overcoat, hat and woolen pants (although he has his stockings his shoes were lost, stuck in the mud along the way). A wonderful find for a beginning or an advanced collector! Insurance is included in shipping costs. However, many dolls I have bought at an estate or auction and have no idea of where they have been so please ask before buying if, old doll smells bother you (not the hard plastic sour smell or mothball smell those will be listed in the description). Since smell is subjective, the only way to get a doll that has no odor at all is to purchase it new-in-the-box from a department store and even then it will smell like vinyl. Thank you! Shipping I combine shipping! All items over $60 require paid insurance (this protects us both in case something is damaged in shipping and is usually only $1.80 or about $3.00/$100 of value). All packages are shipped via US Postal Service First Class, Media Mail (for books only), or US Postal Service Priority Mail and delivered in 3-14 business days after the ship date. Items over 28 inches may be sent FedEX due to new USPS increased costs on these larger items. Please do not ask me to ship your items in regular envelopes, or media mail when they are not books to save on shipping costs. I pack everything well!USPS made the following changes January 27, 2019: USPS First Class packages are increasing an average of 11.9%* Note that USPS First Class Package Service pricing will change from a flat rate per ounce to zone-based pricing per ounce USPS Priority Mail increases an average of 5.9%*. Changes in weight distribution of packages will affect pricing on USPS packages starting in June. This means shipping costs will be higher, or some sellers are putting these costs into the prices of their items (especially when offering free shipping). What this means is although you may pay for example, $5.00 to ship, I only get what is left after they take out 10% to actually pay for shipping your item.
