It is in excellent condition because I take great care with my books. It's been in storage since the late 1980s. Dust jacket is present, but I would grade it as GOOD. The dust jacket shows wear and age including tears in seven corners, fading along the edges and smudge marks. I would grade the cloth covers as VERY FINE. This book has never been stored or used with the dustcover off, so the cloth covers look great. The only flaws are very tiny dings in the outside corners. The dye is very saturated with color. The gold ink is bright with no flaking. The covers lie flat with no bending. The spine is straight and perpendicular to the covers. The binding is excellent. The pages are VERY FINE+. They all lie flat, are all firmly attached to the binding, cream-colored, with no tears, bends, folds, or creases. No loose, pulling loose, or missing pages. The only marks on the pages are the owner's name written in ink on the inside front page (blurred in the picture for privacy). I see no other marks on the other pages. Because this dictionary was used, the page edges show some minor smudging on the bottom right side (you can see this in picture 6). SHIPPINGThis book will ship USPS Media Mail in a cardboard box. The book will be wrapped in plastic and the box will have sufficient packing material to prevent the book from moving around or getting damaged while in transit.
